Volunteer:

Volunteering at ECCHA

Do you love to spend time with animals, provide them companionship, and are looking for a volunteer opportunity that allows you to give back to the community by supporting and helping improve animals' lives?

Volunteering with ECCHA

We are always looking for amazing and caring volunteers who can help support our mission to be a voice by way of socializing with pets, fostering, supporting our outreach programs, helping to provide a clean and safe environment, office/clerical support, and so much more. The best part is there's no animal expertise required. Our volunteers play an essential role in supporting the needs of the animals and finding them their forever home.

The volunteer opportunities offer a variety of times throughout the day that allows you the flexibility to volunteer around your schedule 7 days a week between the hours of 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. All volunteers are welcome, including service-learning students, community service, and youth volunteers. Volunteers under the age of 18 will require consent from a parent/legal guardian. Any volunteers ages 10-15 must also be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian or an adult who has completed the required online orientation. Volunteers under the age of 10 are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure the safety of those children volunteering.

You can be an integral part of the amazingly large group of volunteers it takes to assist us in advocating and guiding our efforts to support the betterment of those animals in need by simply completing the below volunteer application. The volunteer process is quick and easy. It takes just a few minutes to complete the application to start the process of becoming part of our compassionate team.

Once the application process is completed and reviewed, you will receive an email invite to sign up for an hour of online orientation, which is required for all volunteers. There is a small orientation fee of $10 that helps support the training and needs of volunteers and includes a free volunteer t-shirt.

Orientations are online and take about an hour. During the orientation, volunteers learn about the humane society, our policies, procedures, and programs you can get involved in to help us support and advocate for those animals who need our help.

Please feel free to reach out to the volunteer coordinator by emailing or by phone at 715-839-4747 Ext. 1024 with any questions or would prefer to sign up for the orientation over the phone or by email.
