Planned Giving

You're never too young to plan for the future. Although you may be concentrating on starting your career, growing your business, or planning for retirement, it is the perfect time to bequest the Eau Claire County Humane Association as a benefactor in your will or trust.

Several of our supporters have already acted to ensure the future of our organization by becoming a member of the ECCHA Legacy Society, an exclusive group of dedicated supporters who have made planned gifts which will help protect homeless and abused animals in our community for years to come.

Other Ways to Help

1.

Donate a Bed – Give the gift of comfort to a shelter dog or cat.
Find out how to donate a bed.

2.

Stretch and Scratch – Stretch and Scratch cat scratchers provide enrichment for the cats in our shelter and are the perfect size for our cat cages. Place an order and have it shipped directly to our facility. Learn more about donating a Stretch and Scratch.

3.

Collect Your Receipts – Do you shop at Gordy’s County Market? Save your receipts from any Gordy’s location and mail them to us at:

3900 Old Town Hall Road
Eau Claire, WI 54701

We mail them back to Gordy’s, and they donate a portion of the total sales to ECCHA!

4.

Paw Away Hunger at Festival Foods – Every dollar raised through this program is donated back to our organization through needed supplies we use every day.

Participation is simple:

Visit Festival Foods in Eau Claire.

Look for the “Paw Away Hunger” display.

Select a $5 or $10 bag from the display.

Checkout your selected bag.

Place the bag back on the display.

A unique identification number on the bag will track your “Paw Away Hunger” donation. Once a minimum has been raised, the money will be donated to the shelter to buy supplies.

5.

Donate used ink cartridges and cell phones – We are involved in the FundingFactory Recycling Program. Instead of throwing them away, drop off your used printer cartridges and old cell phones at ECCHA (3900 Old Town Hall Road in Eau Claire). We recycle the cartridges and cell phones through the FundingFactory to earn new technology and cash.

6.

Use Goodsearch – Help raise month for the Eau Claire County Humane Association by searching the Internet through www.goodsearch.com. Simply select ECCHA as your preferred charity and continue your search as usual. We receive $0.01 each time you search. That means if only 100 of our supporters searched twice a day, we would receive $730 in donations!

Making a donation: helping support our cause

When you choose to donate to the Eau Claire County Humane Association, you are not only helping keep our doors open, you are contributing to saving the lives of over 2,400 pets annually. Remember, every donation we receive helps to shelter, feed, and place animals that cannot speak for themselves — no donation is too small.
