Hello to our Friends
in Eau Claire!
Enclosed you will find pictures of Buddy. I'm sure you will
remember, he is the Rotteweiler turned in to you with the
shattered hind leg.
You were kind enough, after
seeing what a great dog he was, to turn him over to Recycled
Rotts in Chicago, where surgery on his leg was performed.
We had just lost our beloved male Rott and Buddy caught
our eye. We adopted and took him home Christmas Eve.
Buddy now has an older sister named Molly who we adopted
from Recycled Rotts 2 years ago. She is the boss and that
seems to suit him just fine! They lead a pampered life -
walks in the woods, weekends at the lake, grandchildren
to love and plenty of attention.
Rest assured, he will never be homeless again - we just
love him!
Thank you all for helping so many animals - especially "our
Buddy".

Dear
ECCHA,
Just thought we would let you know how Jack (AKA Derrick)
is doing. Since his adoption in November, he has adjusted
very well. He enjoys chasing squirrels and birds, playing
with the kids, digging holes and chewing on logs. He has a
lot of puppy in him yet, but he is a smart dog and a very
handsome fellow. Thank you for all the wonderful work you
do.

We just thought we would
let you know how things are going with "Cleo".
We renamed him Boris after a dog Kay's sister used to have.
He likes to head-butt and be petted but is always wary.
He seems to
hide not so much out of fear but just to be secretive. (I
think that is
the right word)
Since he likes to hide we thought some of you may not have
had a chance
to see him when he is out and about so here is a picture.
Boris has his own room but has come out to hide under the
bed or peek
around.

Thanks for your
services,

I thank you for holding on to
Buster for as long as you did so that we
could find each other. I knew we were ment for each other
when I happened upon his photo on your website.
A few years ago I had to put to sleep a old pitbull of mine
"Rosie" She was my best friend and guardian, without
her I have been empty even though we have other rescued
shelter pets, 7 dogs to be exact...all dear to my heart.
Buster was picked up by my husband
since I currently am not allowed to drive due to seizures,
when he arived home Buster just about leaped out of the
truck window to greet me.

He
did the usual checking things out jog, Then was introduced
to our other dogs...In our fenced in yard he played and rallied
with joy, not one disturbing motion. The kitties wanted to
investigate the activity and Buster thought they were interesting
little creatures and let them walk on by not batting even
a eye at our 3 rescued
felines.
Buster loves all animals and even puts up with Spike a rescued
shelter dog that has some serious "little big man issues"
for Busters safety we put the 20 pound tazmanian devil in
the porch while Buster plays, he is afraid of spike and would
rather not deal with the issue.
As I am writing this Buster is relaxing on the couch, I assure
you he will
never see a chain or dog house since our house IS the dog
house..(smile) I
love pitbulls and he is great.
Thanks for all that you do,,,Bye for now..Susan and family

I adopted Roxy in Jan 2003,
I thought you might like to see how she's doing.
If you don't remember Roxy, she is the red lab mix.
