"Happy Homes"
Hello.
I adopted "Daisy" from you about a week and a half
ago. She's a Doberman mix. (Her name is now Casey.)
 |
WE
LOVE HER! She's the perfect indoor pet and loves running wide
open in the field outside. She is already bonded with us,
and we can't believe we were able to find such a perfect pet.
She's never had an accident on the floor, and she comes when
she's called. She loves being near us and whines whenever
one of us leaves. She belongs here and she makes us know it.
Thank you for being there as a service to humans and animals!! |

We just wanted
to give you an update on Beagin and tell you that he is doing
really well. We absolutely love him and he's come a long way
since we brought him home a month ago. He's a great dog! Here's
a recent picture of him. We have a lot more, I just have to
figure out how to send more than one at a time! Anyway, we
want to say thanks and tell you how happy we are to have Beagin
around.
Sincerely,
Lindsay and Scott

Just a note to let you
know how fast Ben has adjusted to our home and our 4 year
old Chipper who's never been around another cat except when
he was with his litter at the humane society. Ben is very
laid back, very much of a lap cat, uses the litter box, has
no problem crawling in bed with us, gets along with Chipper
just fine. As you can see Chipper is used to having his own
place in front of our picture window and as you can see Ben
also has his "own" pillow. No arguments there. They
each have their own litter box and both stay with their own
litter box. They both have the run of the house. Furniture
is fine but tables and countertops are off limits. Both understand
that although Ben did check out our "house rules"
regarding that last night. He just couldn't resist. :-)
As you can see by the attached photos, things are going quite
well considering Ben arrived at his new home at 5:30 pm last
night and these photos were taken this morning. Ben and Chipper
are taking their cat naps at this very moment.

So far, it couldn't be better. You
are looking at a couple of spoiled cats but they love it.

Sully (Leo) is
a black lab mix we adopted in November. (no picture yet)
Sully was pretty skinny when we got him. He was at the vet
last week and he is now a jolly 91 pounds!! (He actually needs
to drop about five of that).
He also just finished "Basic Obedience" with Ann
Braue. He was the biggest dog in the class and was very well
behaved. We plan on going back for Intermediate this Summer.
He and his sister Mattie are still in love--no pack leader
issues, no food issues, not so much as a snarl. It's been
almost four months since he came home and he fits in so well,
it's like he's been there forever!!
Our 2 1/2 year old loves him and Sully is AWESOME with Sam.
Sam chases him around the house, pulls his tail, pulls his
ears and tries to ride him, and Sully just takes it all in
stride. He is an amazing creature. I'm thinking of training
him to pull a wagon this summer; we'll see if that works out.
We are so glad we found him! Thanks- |
I
just wanted to send a picture of my new home.

I
was adopted in January and couldn't be doing better! I just
love to cuddle and play with my family. My favorite toys are
stuffed mice, a laser pointer, and feathers (which I'm not
supposed to get into.) Thank you so much for giving me a home
where I am loved and treated like a member of the family.
Love,
Popple |
| This
is Precious. His name at the shelter was Atticus. He was
adopted October 18 by Amy from Minneapolis. He is very happy
and very spoiled. We are a perfect match for each other. |
