"Happy Homes"

Cotton (aka Max) made himself right at home. He sleeps on our pillows between our heads at night and has a great purr. His manners need a little work, but he's coming along. We love him! Thanks for passing him along to us.

Kevin and Sherry

To All at the Eau Claire County Humane Association:

Just wanted to share a few pictures of Simba ( i.e. Karmel) with you all. He is the best kitten ever. He is so playful and happy all of the time. He made our household more fun and exciting. He is in good hands. Thanks!

Simba, Carly, and Josh

Attached are two photos of Jake (previously Georgy) who we adopted on January 11, 2003. We had been looking since October and the wait was worth it. He is very well behaved, loves people, and likes a lot of attention. We feel very lucky to have gotten such a great dog. We can't imagine our home without him.

I renamed Juneau to Yosemite; and he is doing great. We are now best buds, I attached our picture. But he is mad at me because I had him neutered on Friday, hopefully he'll get over it.

Eli is a wonderful, affectionate, people-loving cat who certainly enriches my life. He is a good companion. He loves to be held and petted...pretty much by anyone! He loves water! He uses his paws to bat at water coming from the faucet and he likes to drink running water from the sink instead of his water bowl. I have only the highest praise for the shelter which was spotlessly clean, took good care of him, and maintained his trust in and affection for people.

Kathy and I adopted These two precious girls Tuesday afternoon. It's hard to imagine we have become so attached to these kittens so quickly. As I'm writing this, Cali is sitting next to me looking at screen, watching the type entered.

I received an email about a month ago thanking us for adopting Max. Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. Max adjusted to his new home within the first few hours after we brought him home. Max has been a wonderful addition to our family. Our 2 1/2 year old just loves him. They get along wonderfully. He has taken well to his new home and surroundings. He is so sweet, loving and gentle. We didn't think that we would be able to get a dog like this after we had to put ours down last fall. Thanks to ECCHA and my sister, Nita, who was looking for a dog with you at the time and emailed us out of the blue with a picture and information on Max, we found one.

We have not had any problems with him trying to run away, he gets to go for walks at least twice a day and has a very nice sized fenced in back yard that he likes. He loves to roll in the snow and sniff the deer tracks. Thank you so much for letting us adopt Max. It has been wonderful having a dog again. I will send a newer picture when I get them developed. This one was taken the morning after we adopted Max - a little over a month ago.
Sincerely, Chuck, Carol & Clarissa
