"Happy Homes"

I thought I should finally send you guys some pictures of our little boy! This is Tucker (eccha name was Hunter). Tucker is an amazing dog and we just love him to pieces. We couldn't imagine our life without him. He is the most gentle dog I have ever met. Tucker came into the shelter with a litter of 6 puppies and he was adopted out and brought back. WE adopted Tucker when he was 4 months old in Feb 2006. We have been fortunate to meet 3 of Tuckers brothers and sisters which has been awesome! They are very unique looking dogs and we would take another one in a heartbeat!! Thank you ECCHA for all you do and most of all for giving us the BEST dog in the world!!!!

Hi! My name is Sarah and I adopted a rabbit from eccha last fall. I took some Easter pictures of him and just thought I would share them with the shelter! His name at the shelter was Tio, but I renamed him Welsey. We are getting along great and I love watching him jump around and play!! He really is a great rabbit! Thanks!

A few weeks ago, my husband and I adopted Anthony from your shelter. I just thought I would send a little update to let you know how he is doing along with some pictures! He is very lovable and always looking for attention. We renamed him Ajay, and so far he is getting along good with our other male cat, Sam, who is 7 years old. Our other female cat, Buddy, is 14, and she isn't too friendly with him, but they seem to keep their distance from each other.

We've got a scratching post where Ajay and Sam play together on, which I think helped them to get to know each other a little better. Sam and Ajay enjoy chasing each other around the house, and Ajay has tons of energy!! He is 2 1/2, but you would think he was 6 months old. He is so cute and always ready for petting, being brushed, giving hugs, etc.

He is a "talker" and constantly lets you know where he is at in the house! The only thing that seems to quiet him down is his "blanket" that he sucks on! You can see it in the attached pictures - I think it is security for him. When my husband and I leave for work, we put his "blanket" on our couch, and that is where we usually find Ajay when we get home - with the blanket in his mouth and sleeping!! He follows us around the house everywhere.

Anyhow, thank you for letting us bring Ajay into our home. He is a great addition to our family, and we love having him with us.

Michelle & Jon B.
