A few weeks ago, my husband
and I adopted Anthony from your shelter. I just thought I
would send a little update to let you know how he is doing
along with some pictures! He is very lovable and always looking
for attention. We renamed him Ajay, and so far he is getting
along good with our other male cat, Sam, who is 7 years old.
Our other female cat, Buddy, is 14, and she isn't too friendly
with him, but they seem to keep their distance from each other.

We've got a scratching post where Ajay and Sam play together
on, which I think helped them to get to know each other a
little better. Sam and Ajay enjoy chasing each other around
the house, and Ajay has tons of energy!! He is 2 1/2, but
you would think he was 6 months old. He is so cute and always
ready for petting, being brushed, giving hugs, etc.
He is a "talker" and constantly lets you know where
he is at in the house! The only thing that seems to quiet
him down is his "blanket" that he sucks on! You
can see it in the attached pictures - I think it is security
for him. When my husband and I leave for work, we put his
"blanket" on our couch, and that is where we usually
find Ajay when we get home - with the blanket in his mouth
and sleeping!! He follows us around the house everywhere.
Anyhow, thank you for letting us bring Ajay into our home.
He is a great addition to our family, and we love having him
with us.
