Thought you would enjoy the picture Toby (the dog) was adopted last summer from the humane association.
Thanks so much for such a wonderful addition to our family.

Hello,
I just wanted to thank you for Carly and to let you know that
we are having so much fun. She loves to play in the leaves,
find big sticks in the woods to chew on, play in the mud after
it rains, play Frisbee, get the mail, and then nap in our
beds!!! A special thank you to Jaime for all her help and
advice.

Here
is another picture of Bessie. She had a tumor removed from
her ear a few weeks ago, but is now doing great.

This is Max,
our sweetheart. This is his special bed, blanket, and bone.
Needless to say he is somewhat spoiled.

Just a quick note to let you know that Boomer, who was adopted a little over a year ago, is one very happy cat in our family. He was adopted from ECCHA in August 2004 and had been at the shelter since February 2004. No one seemed to want to adopt him because he had been surrendered with "litterbox" problems. I just want potential "adopters" to know that even "problem" animals can be retrained and be wonderful pets. We took Boomer to the vet and discovered that he had a viral intestinal infection which had contributed to the litterbox problem.

We have put out two catboxes in our laundry room, clean them daily (yuk!), keep a nightlight on in there for them (because cats really do not like total darkness) and that has done the trick-- no problems! Boomer has a fun family that consists of a calico cat named Patches (Queen of the House), another shelter cat, and Chips, our geriatric springer spaniel. I would enclose a picture of all of them but they are so busy playing hide-n-seek, tag, fetch (yes, even the cats do this!) and musical beds for sleeping, that we can never get all three of them in the same photo. Thanks again for allowing us to adopt Boomer! Donna

Here is a recent picture of Saxon and Kozy (Andy/Emily). They are doing
great! Saxon is huge and Kozy still looks like a little kitten, they both
are very playful and happy! Thanks so much, EC Humane Society! Ann and Jon
