Just writing to tell you how much we love our dog Jack (formerly
Raschal), adopted June 3, 2004. He came into a family of three
humans, one
dog, and two cats--quite a bit to assimilate. It took a couple
of weeks
for him to be accepted, but he worked so hard at it! He is
currently
our face-cleaner for the other dog and one cat (the other
cat won't put
up with it.)
Jack is so energetic and funny! Yesterday I saw him accidentally
roll
on his back in the snow, do a 360 turn, and leap up--the dog
toy still
in his mouth. He can get our eight-year-old dog Taz chasing
around
like a puppy by stealing "her" chicken squeaky toy.
He is great with
guest dogs (see picture of him and his cousin Jake, a golden
retriever),
and loves to get treats.
I have often thought about why it was that Jack was turned
in to you;
how could someone have given him away? |

But that is our good
luck. He
brightens each day for me. He is a wonderful clown who also
has a quiet, lapdog side--just what I need at the end of
a hectic day.
Thanks for Jack, and thanks for all that you do to find
the perfect
human for each pet, and vice versa!
