"Happy Homes"

My husband and I decided to change Sabastian's name to Dakota. The two pictures I sent you were the best ones of just Dakota and my step grand daughter. Katie really enjoys playing with Dakota when she comes and visits Dakota has to be by her side it's almost like he is babysitting her, Katie is 5 years old. The other picture is Dakota's true self, a clown, he loves looking for the chunks of snow and carring them around and of course other things to carry around. All of us have bonded very well, Dakota loves to be out side and running around with Casey and playing with our horses. I will send some more pictures as he grows up and with Casey. Thank you for such a wonderful pup
Best wishes to all
Maureen and Larry C.

To all the staff,

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years.

These are pictures of Dudley. he was adopted by Jane and Chuck and their son Morgan.

I adopted Fancy (we call her Sadie) last November. I just wanted to send along an update. Sadie is a dear little dog! She is better with men, we still have to constantly reassure her that she is a good dog and can have her food etc. I think her life with us is good! She has the run of the house, sleeps in our bed with us and gets lots of walks and attention.
Sadie doesn't seem to know how to play, but does this rolling in a blanket thing that is very cute! She loves going to my sister's house and seeing her little dog. I want to thank you for all your hard work for all the animals in your shelter and especially for your kindness and work in making it possible for Sadie to be our little dog. She is a good match for us. Am attaching a picture of Sadie taken
today. Thank you again- Sadie has filled the hurt spot in our hearts and is loved for who she is!!

We adopted Lucy (springer spaniel) in April and I thought you might enjoy seeing this picture of her decked out in her Halloween sweater.

Lucy is absolutely adorable and has been a welcome addition to our family. She is very much MY dog and shadows me wherever I go, so she gets a lot of exercise up and down stairs all day long. She has decided she needs to be in the car whenever it moves, so she rides a lot too.

All in all, we couldn't have found a better dog. Thanks again for holding her for me while I made the long trip from St. Cloud to get her.

Regards,

Lynn M.

This is Murphy the cat. Murphy was adopted recently by one of our board members

We adopted Butter mid-July. He is doing well. He is a big puppy who protects us by barking. He's got great hearing. He is very sweet and soft. He doesn't mind his bath and we have occasionally found him in the tub with out water. He'll come in and try to drink the drops off the tub when you are in the shower or tub. He warms up to people after a while. He plays with his new mother figure dog, Annie, alot. The one picture of him in his kennel represents the few days he spent in there. He is doing fine, just sleeping next to my bed. We used it to make sure he was house trained. He was a quick learner. Thanks for giving us this opportunity to make a better home for Butter. We truly love him.

I just wanted to share some photos of Bear with you. I adopted her August 6th. She's part Rot and the vet thinks part Lab. To refresh your memory, she didn't bark at all when she was at the shelter...since mid-May! When I got her home, she didn't bark either....Now she's coming around....Barks wildly at the mailman!!! Other than that, she's pretty quiet...I wonder if she had a shock collar on her at one time? Anyway, she is a wonderful dog and I am very fortunate to have found her. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!
