"Happy Homes"

Dear People at the ECCHA,

Here I am with my angel dog sent from heaven to comfort me after my husband's death. Thank you for the wonderful work you do.

Ann and Mia

Hi Everyone,

In April we adopted a 9 week old puppy named Ringo. We renamed him Riley. We all fell in love with him right away. He already knows how to sit, stay, shake, lie down, and give kisses. He loves to go for walks, ride in the car, take showers, and go swimming. We are very happy Riley is a part of our lives and will always take very good care of him.

To all the wonderful staff at the shelter - here are some pictures we promised!! We absolutely love Lulu and she is adjusting very well to her new home. She has been a blessing and a wonderful addition to our home. Thank you to everyone who has been so kind to us.

Dear Friends at the ECCHA,

We adopted a kitten, Hanna, in February. We just wanted to let you know that she is doing well and is loved dearly. We did rename her Zoe - we already have a family member named Hannah. Thank you for all your help in the adoption.

To the ECCHA,

Hello, I wanted to send pictures and an update on Fiona. So far, she's doing great and everyone loves her. She's been very affectionate and cuddly, as well as fun to play with. I think she'll be pretty sweet and nice to be with. She has been settling in. She loves car rides and cuddling on the couch. She is really good at playing fetch too!!!

So far, she has been very well behaved, but we may have to do a little obedience with her. I definitely want to do some training to make sure she stays sweet and well mannered.

Michelle

We adopted Brooklyn a month ago. We love her with all of our hearts. Thank you so much for such a beautiful kitten. She was 4 pounds when we picked her up and look at her now.

She has fit in very well with our family which includes two kids and three other pets (a dog and two mice). Brooklyn is truly a treasure, and we are thankful that you brought her to us.

Sincerely,
Scott and Tonya along with Hannah, William, and Whitley(dog)

Just a couple more pictures.

Boomer has filled out and is so

soft and shiney now. Ed's coat

just shines, and he hasn't put

on weight like bassets tend to

do. They both look just great.

Teri

Hi ECCHA,
Lucky here, ready to share a happy homes story. I am not sure if you remember me, as I didn’t have to spend much time with you. I was surrendered the morning of Saturday, January 17th, and Miss Judy came to the shelter that afternoon and adopted me. I guess my name fits me although Miss Judy says that she is the lucky one. Who is to argue with a teacher?

I love car rides so the trip to my new home in Minnesota was great. At first Miss Judy kept me crated while she was at school, but in May I finally convinced her to let me have the run of the house. I spend most of my day sleeping on the couch or in the basement. I also love curling up in the sleeping bag. I figured if it was good enough for Miss Judy to sleep in when she an kept an eye on me after I was neutered, it was good enough for me to sleep on.
Walking is another thing I love to do. Miss Judy makes sure we walk at least three times a day and even more often on weekends. I’ve met lots of nice people as everyone wants to pet me. Other dogs in the neighborhood bark when I go by, but Miss Judy explained that the other dogs are just jealous that I am out walking. There are lots of rabbits and squirrels in the area, and they run when they see me approach.

They recognize the mighty Lucky and don’t want to mess with me! I even loved walking through the snow last winter since Miss Judy would carry me if my paws got too cold in the fresh snow. Boy, do I have her trained!

Thank you to the ECCHA for letting Miss Judy adopt me and take me to Minnesota. I promise that I will remain a loyal Packers fan (should be easy since Miss Judy still cheers for the Packers). Time to go chase the neighbor’s squirrels.

Love, Lucky
