"Happy Homes"

This is Chaos adopted from the shelter 6/13/03.

It's hard to believe that is has been almost a year since I adopted Sammy and Johnny. I first took them in as "foster kids" because they needed special care. Maybe some of you remember that their owner had to move overseas and they were so depressed they would not eat and got very sick.

As you can see from their pictures, they have made a full recovery and are full or energy and silliness! They also have been professional models for local ad agencies and have been able to dontate some of their earnings back to the shelter to help other animals.

I was hesitant to adopt 2 young kitties because I had one senior cat already, but it worked out well because they have each other to play with so she isn't pestered too much. I highly recommend "double adoptions" for that reason. They are super affectionate and really sweet!! Thanks to everyone at ECCHA who donated to their care.

This is a little update on Sadie the Cocker Spaniel. She has decided she is in heaven. She loves her life here. We are all so pleased with her. She NEVER does anything wrong!! It is simply amazing. She has started to play more and more. Just this week she has gotten confident enough to play with my Dachshund Willow and just this morning played with a toy for the very first time. She is just so cute.

Thank you very much for letting me adopt Jillian. She is a wonderful cat. She is very friendly and likes to snuggle. She is in a great home now and is getting spoiled and pampered all the time. I renamed her and now her name is Midnight. I would just like to thank you and let you know she will always be in good hands in our household.

Well we have two days under our belts and here our the results of "Ripleys" new home. We thought it was cute too. We have noticed that he is very well behaved and listens too. He did get a quick lesson when it came to the electric fence going around the horse pen, he absolutely had to meet Bonnie Belle(my paint mare) and didn't clear the fence. He now knows to wait for the gate to open before he goes in. Other than that everything is going good. thanks for everything.

We adopted Chase (lil boy) at the end of summer and recently got some new pictures if you would like to look or put on the website. Here's a pic of Chase and our cat Reeces. They get along better than I could ask for.

Thanks!

Tara

I wanted to take a minute to show off a picture of Felix. He is the wonderful cat I adopted in February. Although the poor little guy had a rocky start to life (he got very ill shortly after arriving home and spent a good two months on antibiotics), he is thriving, and is probably the world's most spoiled feline. He just turned one this month.
He loves to play catch, a game we play by the hour (literally). He also loves his pink teddy bear (yes, he has a teddy bear). He actually stole this stuffed bear off a shelf and has claimed it for his own. He carries it around like it's his baby.

I really can't imagine my life without him. He is the most loving and fun little guy ever! Thank you so much!!!

We adopted Buddy who is a Cockapoo on September 17, 2003 and he is doing great. He has a lot of fun with our other dog ESPN who is a one year old St. Bernard. ESPN treats Buddy like her own baby which we can see why because Buddy is so lovable and has brought a lot of joy to our family. Thanks to the Eau Claire Humane Association for letting us adopt such a wonderful pet. We will love him and take care of him forever.

This is two recent Pictures of Heidi and Tucker (Billie when we got him from you)
Enjoy. Things are going great....

He is an awsome addition
to our family.

Hi, this is Zoe (aka Angel). I want to thank everyone at the shelter for taking such good care of me! Its been over three weeks since my new Mom adopted me. We are getting along great! I get lots of love and attention.

Mom takes me to Good Manners class where I am learning all kinds of good things. I have to wear this weird collar alot; Mom calls it my Gentle Leader. It makes me behave and Mom says thats a good thing! I have recovered from my surgery even though I pulled out all my staples. Mom says I can be a little devil; whatever that means! I am doing so good at my house training, I get to sleep on Mom's bed now. I love it!

Thanks again for all your help!

Zoe

Greetings!

John and I adopted Charlie (formerly Shakespeare) January 2003 (I believe). Charlie is doing great with his housemates; Dover (St. Bernard), Nina, Bjorn and Dora (our three lovely felines). Charlie enjoys hours upon hours of meditative gazing into our Koi pond, we can't seem to tempt him to come in the house most days!

We just love our Charlie and couldn't imagine him anywhere but with us! Thank you again for all of your help!
