Thought you'd like to see a picture of Boscoe (formally Oscar) one
year after adoption. Sarita

A little update on Sadie the Cocker Spaniel. (cockpoo, but we see no poo. (hee hee)

She has decided she is in heaven. She loves her life here. We are all so pleased with her. She NEVER does anything wrong! It is simply amazing.
She has started to play more and more. Just this week she has gotten confident enough to play with my Dachshund Willow. And just this morning played with a toy for the very first time! She is just so cute!

Thanks again,
Annette in Minnesota

We adopted Kaci (formerly Diamond) on March 7th of this year and I thought I would give you an update on how she's doing. I've attached a photo of her on our boat this summer. She has a great time going out on the lakes with us. She's doing great and fitting in perfectly with her surroundings. We go to the dog park almost every day and she has a blast playing with all the other dogs. She follows me around like a shadow and never lets me out of her sight. We've become pretty good pals!

Hello to all the staff and volunteers at the Eau Claire Humane Association! On July 1, we adopted Jack, an Australian Cattle dog, now renamed Brumby. I can’t tell you how happy we are with this guy. He’s such a sweetheart and enjoys being the center of attention. He’s finally found the right home! We have a large back yard that he loves to run in, as well as parks nearby that he enjoys visiting daily. He’s currently in obedience class (more for us to learn how to handle him consistently). He went with us on vacation this summer and enjoyed running into the lake and swimming with the kids. He never showed an interest in our pool at home so this was quite a surprise to us.
Thanks again for the wonderful work all of you do, we were so impressed with your shelter and the staff.

Hi, We've renamed Zeus to Max and he seems to be adjusting very well. Gary and I walked him on a leash at Carson Park this last Sat. I took him to a softball game in Osseo on Tues. and yesterday we were out to a farmhouse near Mondovi after a stop at the vet to have his sutures removed. We love our new buddy and look forward to many years together. Thank you for giving him to us.

Tabitha

Buddy is doing well. He has settled in to life at the Howie house. We walk twice a day and I take him swimming every night. (he loves the water!!) He loves riding in the truck and hands his head out the window like he's suppose to. Buddy has met everyone in the neighborhood. He's really good with other dogs and has a few playmates that stop over often to play.

We are having a picnic on Saturday and I'm calling it the First Annual Yellow Dog Fest. There will be 4 other yellow labs among the guests so he's going to have a blast. He's quiet all night and sleeps next to my bed,.. sometimes on it. We have had no accidents in the house at all, I left him alone for the first time today (for about 2 hours) and he was just fine in the house. He's really good with my mom, he walks slowly with her and is so gentle with her, she just loves him. He has a prescription for his ears and they are cleaning up nicely. Thanks for getting us together!!

Hello to all at the EC Humane Assoc!

Here's a few shots of Clover that we adopted a short time ago. She is doing very well... gaining weight, gets along with Older Dog, plays well, sleeps well. We love her!

Hello to all of you at the shelter. It's been a month since I've been with Carol and Rudy and I have totally taken over their house. They are very good parents and take really good care of me. I am sending along pictures so you can see how well I'm doing. Thanks for taking good care of me until I was adopted.

Love,
Sid

Cosmo (formerly Casey) is doing great at his new home. He has made many new friends, both human and animal. Even though he is now over 40 pounds he still feels that he should be a lap dog and loves to be right next to you, if not right on top. Thanks for finding a place for Cosmo in our family.

Sarah
