In return for my right to participate in the May 15, 2010 Fido & Friends Fun Run/Walk, or the right of my spouse to participate in the Fido & Friends Fun Run/WaIk, I hereby, for myself, for my children as their legal guardian, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages arising from this event which I, my children, my heirs, executors and administrators, may have against the above sponsors, the Eau Claire County Humane Association, the City of Eau Claire, or any of their employees or agents, and any individuals associated with this event. I understand that, without limitation, I am releasing claims arising from the maintenance, control or inspection of the Carson Park and the run/walk area, control of the participants, spectators and dogs involved in the run/walk, management and conduct of the run/walk itself and all other conditions associated or involved with this event, before, during or after the race itself. I also understand that I am specifically releasing the following general types of claims, without limitations: Claims for personal injury to myself or my spouse, injury to my dog and damage to any personal property. I declare both my dog and I are in proper physical condition to participate in this event, that my dog has all current vaccinations as required by law and that my participation is undertaken at my own risk. I consent to the use of my photograph or likeness from this event for any legitimate purpose.
