Donate & Help Support Our Cause

The Eau Claire County Humane Association (ECCHA) receives no funding from any local, state or national organization. We rely on donations from our generous community – people just like you who care about the well-being of homeless, abandoned and neglected animals.

Without your support, we would be unable to fulfill our mission. The staff and Board of Directors are so grateful for any level of giving on behalf of the animals in our care.

About the Jay Mettler Emergency Medical Fund

The Jay Mettler Emergency Fund was started because of the need to fund emergency medical procedures, whether for acute illness or to treat traumatic injuries for our animal residents.

Shelter Wishlist

For the time being, ECCHA only accepts donations from our weekly wish list posted every Friday. Construction has officially begun and our main storage building had to be torn down to make room for the equipment. The only unsolicited items we will continue to accept are animal medications, unopened bags of dog or cat food, new dog leashes and non-prescription dog or wet cat food. ALL other items must either be listed on our wish list, or you must call ahead to see if we can use it. We will be turning people away if we cannot use your donation, so save a trip and give us a call!

Items we will always accept:
Unopened bags of dog and cat food
New Dog leashes and collars
Animal Medications
Non-prescription dog and cat wet food

Leave a Legacy

You’re never too young to start planning for the future. Although you may be concentrating on starting your career, growing your business or planning for retirement, now is the perfect time to bequest the Eau Claire County Humane Association as a benefactor in your will or trust.

Several of our supporters have already acted to ensure the future of our organization by becoming a member of the ECCHA Legacy Society, an exclusive group of dedicated supporters who have made planned gifts that will help protect homeless and abused animals in our community for years to come.
